Letter from the President of WMSHE

 

Dear WMSHE members:

 

As we move from a “good” Michigan winter and on to spring, our thoughts move from the heating season, gas consumption and snow plowing, to building and ground projects, chillers and cooling towers, and diligence for Legionella sources.  Ahh, the life of a facilities manager!  Hope everyone is busy, but not to the point of paralyzing stress.

 

Goals of our West Michigan chapter:

 

  1. Identify eligible members in our area from hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities who could benefit from association with WMSHE;

 

  1. Identify pertinent, interesting topics  at chapter meetings to increase participation

 

  1. Strengthen the leadership and continuity of the chapter by filling all elected positions.

 

The WMSHE July Golf Outing will be held at Scott Lake Country Club on Wednesday, July 16, 2008.  The event starts at 11:30 AM with lunch.  The 18-hole scramble will start promptly at 12:30 PM.  The cost for this event is free to all members who are current on their dues.
