Vendor Show Information for 2008
Want to be an Exhibitor? There are three
steps:

Important Bulleted Information – note the changes in what the booth fee

LATE FEES APPLY after September 5th. Booth fee for registrations placed after
September 5th are $850.

Booth EARLY registration deadline ENDED AT

Booth fees need to be paid by September
5th to hold the booth.

Booth payments not received PRIOR to the conference
date will be assessed a $50 late fee.
·
Cancellation for
PAID booth registrations with full refunds can be done up to September
5th, thereafter, half of the booth fee will be refunded until September 17th.
No refunds will be given for
cancellations after September 17th.

Cancellation for
UNPAID booth registrations can be done up to September 5th,
thereafter, half of the booth fee will be charged until September 17th,
after which full booth registration will be assessed.

Booth fees
include registration for up to two (2) company representatives. Additional
representatives can be registered for $40 each. (DO NOT REGISTER AS AN
ATTENDEE)

Thursday evening
banquet tickets can be purchased for $35 each.

Exhibitor/Vendor Packet
Booth Size: 10

Vendor
Show Time: This is a Lunchtime Show and starts at
the first break 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 25th. Participants
go back into the general session for another hour and return for the Lunch Show
that runs from 11:55 AM to 2:20 PM. Vendor Show time will be a total of 4 hours
and 20 minutes!!
Extended Show
Time: If you choose a
booth in the yellow shaded
area, you are required to stay until 3:35 PM. This time period
includes the Lunch Show and the afternoon break that ends at 3:35 PM. Vendor
Show time requirement for the Extended Show Area will be a total of 5 hours and
35 minutes!!
Set-up
Time: Exhibitors registration begins
on Thursday between the hours of 7:30 to10:00 AM. Booths must be set up by 10:00 AM for the
first break.
Tear-down Time: Booths in the
Extended Show area shaded in yellow will not be allowed to teardown until after 3:35
PM, after the last break. Other arrangements can be made by contacting the
conference coordinator. Normal teardown can begin for booths in the non-shaded
exhibit area after 2:20 PM.
Shipping
Information: Shipment of materials to Kewadin Casino cannot be
received any sooner than Friday, September 19th. Packages shipped to Kewadin should be addressed as follows:

Return
postage must be pre-arranged with your shipper!
Kewadin's
shipping department is equipped to handle shipments to and from UPS, FEDEX, and
AIRBORNE (DHL). If there is another
shipping company being used, please notify the Convention Services
Manager. The shipping department will
supply the bill of lading, unless special requirements are necessary, then the
shipper would have to supply the appropriate forms.
Additional
Company Representatives: The booth
fee includes registration for up to 2 company representatives. Additional
representatives are welcome for a fee of $40 each, and may be purchased online in the MiSHE
Store – click on “Vendor”. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER AS AN ATTENDEE.
Booth Representatives: Please
let us know by September 5th the email address, name (correct
spelling) and cell phone number of each of your representatives attending the
conference by sending an email to misheconf@mishe.org. Please let us know of
any changes in your representative line-up by September 5th as well.
Additional
Power: The booth fee includes one
120V outlet, but electrical power will not be provided unless requested.
Additional power (220V) may be purchased.

Additional
Table: The
booth fee includes one 2’X8’ table. An additional table may be purchased for
$30 online in the MiSHE Store and click on “Vendor”.
Conference
Activities: It is expected that all Company
Representatives and Exhibitors will respect the agenda and program of the MiSHE
Conference and will not plan “private” events that will interfere or
prohibit MiSHE Conference Attendees from participation in the Pre-Conference
programs, MiSHE sponsored Wednesday networking activities, Main Conference
program or the Thursday evening banquet.

Sponsorships are available to allow additional exposure of your company
with conference attendees. For more

Prize Give-Away:
During the Vendor Show there will be an assortment of “vendor sponsored”
prizes. These prizes, given by MiSHE, are sponsored from the proceeds of the
booth sales and will target Professional Members of MiSHE. The prizes will be
given away during the lunch-show in the following way (with minor variations,
depending on the circumstances):
IMPORTANT: All Exhibitors are asked to have available in
their booth a suitable container (such as a fish bowl) for Conference Attendee business
cards.
To begin the give-away
process, approximately 30 minutes after the Vendor Show begins, one exhibitor,
from all of the exhibitors present, will be selected at random to establish a
starting point location. At that chosen
location, a strobe light will be turned on and run for two (2) minutes. All persons within the immediate area will
know this is the location of a “prize give-away”. At the end of the two minutes, a bell will
sound and an attendee business card will be drawn from the exhibitors “fish
bowl”. The attendees name will be
announced over the public intercom system as the recipent of the prize. The prize winner will have 90 seconds to
claim his/her prize at the booth location.
If the prize winner has not claimed their prize at the end of 90
seconds, a bell will sound and another name will be drawn. This will continue until a winner has
claimed their prize. A new round is
started when the booth representative draws, at random, the next exhibitor
location that a prize will be given away.
Photos will be taken of the
prize winner and booth representatives at each prize give-away booth location
for viewing at the Thursday evening banquet.
Exhibitor Prize Give-Aways: Exhibitors who
want to give away their own company prizes in conjunction with MiSHE during the
“Vendor Show” may do so by contacting the Conference Coordinator by Monday,
September 15th at misheconf@mishe.org or phone/fax

There
is a limit of six (6) such prizes that will be included with the MiSHE prize
give-away program on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We encourage that the
prizes have a value of $50 or more.
Please indicate the type of prize offered, your company name, booth
number, booth representative name and contact information. These prizes will be accommodated within the
give away program.
SPECIAL NOTE: Other company
“prizes”, free material or promotional items given away will be the
responsibility of your company booth representatives to distribute and MUST NOT
interfere with the MiSHE sponsored prize give-away event.
Presentations: ALL BREAK-OUT SESSIONS HAVE BEEN SELECTED AT
THIS TIME.
ONLY PAID
EXHIBITORS MAY MAKE A “BREAKOUT” PRESENTATION. If your
company would like to make a presentation that you feel fits the conference
theme, please submit a paragraph describing the presentation and title. Presentations will be chosen from those
submitted by the Conference Planning Committee.
All presentations must fit a 40 minute time period. Selected
presentations will be made after the Vendor Show and during the breakout
sessions starting after 3:35 p.m. There
are six presentation slots with two sessions of three concurrent sessions
offered to participants. Please send
your presentation for consideration to: misheconf@mishe.org. A requirement of all speakers is that a copy
of the presentation be made available for posting to the MiSHE web site. Posting of the presentations will start soon
after the conference has ended.
Special Requests: Exhibitors
with special needs or requests can make those by contacting the conference

Cancellation: Exhibitors may cancel up to September 5th
and receive a full rebate. Cancellations made after September 5th
and before September 17th may receive half of the registration fee
as a refund. No refunds for cancellations after September 17th. Banquet tickets are nonrefundable.
