Biography:
Michael J. Blasek is the National Sales Manager for Altro Floors and Walls. He has worked 11 years in the resilient flooring industry as an independent agent, green manufacturing consultant, and healthcare initiatives coordinator. Author of the whitepaper “PVC and Perceived Green Alternatives – Healthcare Focus” Mr. Blasek has a history dealing with healthcare interior products and a strong link to industry environmental advocacy.

Michael was a founding member of the USGBC-CC, former chairman and three term board member. Mr. Blasek is a LEED™ Accredited Professional and is active on many of the national USGBC’s corresponding committees including LEED for Healthcare and has also held a seat on the USGBC’s Heartland Regional Council.

Altro is an international manufacturer of integrated flooring and wall systems designed for operating rooms, emergency care, outpatient clinics, and pharmaceutical laboratories. Safety, Hygiene, and Sustainability are the core guiding principles at Altro Floors and Walls.
