This page contains instruction and material to be used by MECH Certification Test Proctors.

 

Proctor Guide

The Proctor Guide for MECH Certification Testing will be updated as necessary. For the benefit of all test proctors, the most recent version will be posted on this page. Proctors are encouraged to check that they have the most recent version during the test administration. Version number is consecutive and appears under the title on the first page of the document.  Click on the hyperlink to view, download, and print one of the following

Returning Tests for Scoring

  • Each test booklet should contain answer sheets, pilot questions, and any other scrap paper used by the participant. (NOTE: This is a procedural difference from previous administrations.)
  • Include a printed attendance roster. This will be used to ensure proper spelling of names.
  • Mail material all test material (tracking numbers are suggested) to:

Establishing Certification Testing Within Your Institution – On-Site Certification

The “On-Site Certification” program provides a means of setting up testing within your institution. It requires identifying a person who would become a MECH Proctor and be a direct liaison with MECH Headquarters. To understand the responsibilities, please download and review the latest version of the MECH Proctor Guide (above). A MECH Proctor Affidavit is required to identify and establish a MECH Proctor in your institution. Download the document below; fill it out; retain the original; and fax it to MECH using the fax number provided on the bottom of the affidavit:
