Healthcare Mechanic Preparation Manual

About the Guide

This Preparation Manual has been developed to assist applicants in preparing to take the Certified Mechanic or the Senior Certified Mechanic Test.  THE MANUAL IS NOT INTENDED AS AN INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL TO LEARN THE JOB OF A HEALTHCARE MECHANIC! It is a preparation manual to provide insight on how to prepare for the certification test in the years and months prior to taking the test. The Preparation Manual is also valuable for the maintenance supervisor. It provides the supervisor with several plans to assist in the preparation of employees. One of the main features to this manual is the ability for users to test themselves with small “categorical” mini-tests for each of the main sections of the certification test and “comprehensive” mini-tests that are ten question simulations of the certification test.
