About MiSHE … MiSHE (Michigan Society for Healthcare Engineering) is a
state affiliate chapter of ASHE (American Society for Healthcare
Engineering). Within the state of Michigan, MiSHE is made up of 5
regional chapters: UP-MiSHE, NC-MiSHE, EC-MiSHE,
WM-MiSHE, and SE-MiSHE (click here to see
regional chapters). There are several types of membership (see bylaws). Membership is
targeted for individuals who perform in the role of managers, facility
engineer,
construction manager, and other titles that embody supervisory
authority within healthcare institutions. Healthcare institutions
represented are: hospitals, long-term care, nursing homes, homes for
the aged, medical centers, rehabilitation centers, and specialty
medical centers. MiSHE helps to distribute information and educational
services to assist members with conducting their jobs. Educational
events that occur regularly through out the year are: the Annual
Conference, MiSHE Member Seminars, and Technical Seminars. Regional
chapters provide additional educational opportunities that include:
