Hello NCMSHE colleagues and welcome to the other up-north season, the “get ‘er done” season when we all try to cram months of outside repairs, upgrades and renovations before snow flies again. We had a good annual meeting at Munson. Thanks to everyone who could attend and understanding to those who couldn’t.

Our “paid” membership is down a little this year. There are several healthcare facilities that are not represented in our region. Perhaps there are some new folks in these positions that would welcome a call from one of you. I hope you are taking advantage of the valuable information that surface almost weekly. I know that every one of you will agree that we are being expected to do more with less and there is nothing in sight that leads me to believe that it’s going to get better! Now, more than ever, we need what MiSHE and ASHE have to offer.

MiSHE Annual Conference is just around the corner so please don’t wait to register. The NC membership present at the annual meeting voted again to offer ten (10) $225 scholarships (one per facility, on a first come - first served) to aid Chapter members in attending. They didn’t all get used last year so don’t be shy!
