		“Single Pay” for members who want to belong to both MHC and ASHES		The membership renewal form includes an option to pay for both MHC and ASHES dues with one transaction. Remember MHC dues already includes MiSHE. Pay once and belong to ASHES, MHC and MiSHE.
		Listserve connection for important news flashes and information sharing		The Listserve is an email-based communication tool that allows members to receive special announcements and communication of importance. The Listserve also allows members to send a question or request to all members with one email.
		Access to the MHC Member Directory		The MHC Directory provides MHC members the ability to “look-up” other MHC members, both Professional and Associate. This quick “look-up” tool is invaluable when trying to find other members.
		Access to MiSHE news and events		Because MHC is affiliated with MiSHE, many of the services of both organizations are available to MHC members. Newsletters, Announcements, and Seminars are all shared.
		Combined, Larger, Annual Conference		This is the first year that MHC and MiSHE are combining to offer an expanded and larger Annual Conference. Presentations will span similar interests and Vendors will offer services and equipment of interest to both organizations
		Connection to State of Michigan services		Department of Community Health officials regularly make presentations at the conference. Additionally, they are members and are available to answer any question related to codes and standards in healthcare.
		Codes and Standards Information		Advocacy committees continually seek answers to questions and provide leadership in areas of concern. When many voices speak in unison, concerns are heard by the authority having jurisdiction.
Already a MHC member and thinking about joining ASHES?			If you are a Professional member, until April 24^th, you have been granted access by ASHES to “Member Only” information on the ASHES pages. To take a look at those things that only ASHES members can view, go to “Member Only Info” on the homepage and follow the links to a generic username and password.
